Mr Charger attends the Buckinghamshire Skills Show

Cathy and Karl, owners of Mr Charger High Wycombe, recently attended the Buckingham Skills Show, an interactive careers event aimed at young people, parents and carers, or anyone looking for a career change. 

The Buckinghamshire Skills Hub optimises links between the business community and education/training providers to enable young people and adults to develop the skills and qualifications they need to progress in the workplace.

Over 3,000 people visited the event over two days, with excellent feedback from visitors, who praised the range of industry sectors and employers in attendance. Cathy says about the event, “It was a great opportunity for students to come see all the various job types across a wide range of industries, including EV”. 

Mr Charger High Wycombe co-ordinates a number of employment and career focused programmes in the local area, including an Enterprise Adviser Network, and Careers Hub working with schools. Cathy and Karl also work alongside sector focused employer and stakeholder groups, offer apprenticeship support for businesses, and serve on the Skills Advisory Panel for Buckinghamshire.
